Enjoyed our rooms with four poster bed. Got an absolutely fantastic breakfast good quality food served well. The service was excellent in our opinion. Everything was good and the stuff where pleasant and exceptional...

Pleasant staff, good location, free car parking, excellent breakfast, comfortable room that was cleaned daily, provision of clean towels, sherry & biscuits during the afternoon.

The evening meal, provided by an outside firm, was adequate but rather overpriced.

The location is brilliant and easy for exploring Edinburgh. There is nearby The Pacific Fish Bar to grab some food for the dinner. The units are immaculate, spotless with a Lovely big bath as well as an extra bed.

Exceptional and incredible staff in explaining how to get around, rooms were compact.

exceptionally comfortable bed in executive king room with a writing table, an iron and coffee. at 16 miles distance from the airport.

Excellent quality, friendly staff, good food, good location, comfortable room.

Nothing apart from poor TV reception, lack of channel choice.

Charming, Charming, Charming

I felt instantly welcomed with a complimentary sherry and shortbread upon arrival! The historical Victorian charm of the hotel was amazing, with cozy common areas perfect for unwinding after exploring. And let's not forget the very nice breakfast. I enjoyed fluffy pancakes accompanied by a good spread of local options!

nice small hotel, very comfortable bed, its a bit out of the city centre but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel and buses pass every 2-3 minutes

Good location, Free Parking, Good breakfast

We were bitten to bits after staying in room 1 lower ground, avoid at all costs, must be ridden with fleas or bed bugs. The Jacuzzi baths they advertise dont work Bathroom floor tiles broken

We were impressed by the decor and also the bedrooms were amazing. The staff were very attentive and the food was of a great quality. Overall extremely satisfied and will stay there again.

Good hotel with free parking, fast wi-fi, and a cozy bar/lounge area. The staff helped me find a great taxi on my first visit, and I appreciated the welcome drink. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday!

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at Kildonan Lodge Hotel on a recent visit to Edinburgh to attend a royal garden party. It was very well located for this purpose and the staff were both friendly and helpful. We would be happy to recommend this hotel to other visitors to Edinburgh as it is well located and at the same time fairly quiet (we stayed at the rear of the hotel where there was some traffic noise but we didn't find it particularly intrusive).

enjoyed our stay, staff very friendly and made you feel very welcome. Great breakfast which set you up for the day. A good 30min walk to the royal mile but but bus runs from hotel, location very close to hollyrood park we had a lovely walk in the evening around it.

The double room with a four-poster bed was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a comfortable stay with a fantastic garden view. A delicious breakfast with local regional bread was a highlight, and the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Convenient access to the city via bus routes was a plus, but noise from the road did detract from the experience.
